Product Description
The 20 Mil Reinforced Crawl Space Vapor Barrier is the heaviest liner we carry for crawl space encapsulation. It is built for demanding crawl space conditions where the ground may be uneven, rocky, or rough enough to put thinner materials at greater risk of punctures or tears.
This white, string-reinforced vapor barrier helps block ground moisture while giving the crawl space a clean, finished appearance. The added thickness and reinforcement make it a strong choice when you want maximum protection underfoot, especially in crawl spaces that may see frequent access after installation.
Use this liner across the crawl space floor, around piers, and on foundation walls when a white wall finish is preferred. Some installers use the same white material on both the floor and walls, while others use white liner on the floor with translucent liner on the walls for easier inspection behind the material.
For best results, overlap seams and use the right accessories during installation:
- Use Crawl Space Vapor Barrier Tape to seal overlapped seams.
- Use Vapor Barrier Staples to help hold the material in place, especially around edges, corners, piers, and wall transitions.

I highly recommend this liner. It’s extremely easy to work with and lays out smoothly in the crawlspace. The 12-ft width is a huge bonus—it opens up perfectly, making it simple to work around piers and get full coverage without the hassle. Awesome product. I use it for all of my crawlspace encapsulations. It's durable and turns unusable spaces into clean, useable areas.

Long lasting and very durable
This liner is a little tough to work with in a crawlspace so plan how you want it to lay and fold it up outside so that you can unroll it right where you want it to be In the crawl space. It is well worth it though as it holds up extremely well and makes getting into the crawl space a much better experience. The white liner reflects light well and brightens up crawlspace up significantly.
