With an overall size of 18.25" × 10.25", the cover is sized to fit over traditional 16" × 8" foundation vent openings. The shallow 0.5" profile allows most homeowners and contractors to install it directly over existing mortar installed vents—no removal required unless the existing vent protrudes too far. Each cover includes Christmas tree fasteners for secure attachment to the mortar joint, and when paired with a bead of Lexel Adhesive Caulk, it creates an effective air and weather seal.
