Product Description

This polyethylene panel provides a fast, clean and effective way to seal foundation vents when providing moisture control in a crawl space. The plus version of this product has a screen backing to restrict rodent entry for superior protection.

From within the crawl space, install by press fitting the VentBlock+ to the back side of the existing foundation vent.  If the vent opening is too small, you can easily trim the VentBlock+.  Once you have a good fit, you have the option to seal around the edges.  This not only creates a better seal, but provides a better hold to avoid wind from blowing it out of place.  For this, we recommend Pur Stick Foam, Lexel Caulk or White Lightning 3006 Caulk.

In some cases the screen may partially separate from the foam during installation due to torsion and compression forces.  This will not degrade the performance of the product.  Simply install the VentBlock+ making sure that the screen is placed tightly between the foam and the back of existing foundation vent.
