Product Description
This exhaust fan is mounted on a 10 x 22 inch plate and has an optional louver (included). The louver can be added to keep the crawl space closed when the fan is not running. This fan is also used without the louver in attics for placement in ridge vents or gables.

ATMOX FAN - EXHAUST - MULTI-MOUNT WITH LOUVER - 225 CFM
Great idea to vent the attic without cutting a hole in the roof or the side of the house. Have noticed a buzzing sound that can be heard at night. The fan is vibrating thought the ceiling joist. I will remaove fan and place some type of insulation/foam in between the fan and the house. You will want to seal the area between the top of the roof joists ^ and the ridge vent. I noticed some air recirculating back into the attic. I did caulk around the area where the fan mounts to the roof.
